| 背面描述 | Emperor Trajan, laureate and wearing the toga, stands upright in a quadriga advancing to the right, holding an eagle-tipped sceptre in one hand and a branch in the other. The four-horse chariot composition evokes the traditional Roman triumphal imagery and reflects Trajan's Dacian victories. The regnal date legend appears in the field. The overall style is consistent with the workshops of Roman Alexandria in the reign of Trajan. |

Year 13 of Trajan's reign in Egypt — 109/110 AD — falls squarely within the period of his Dacian wars, and Alexandrian bronze production during these years was both prolific and variable in flan preparation. The city mint operated under the prefect of Egypt rather than any imperial mint authority, giving its output a distinctly provincial character that Roman purists of the period apparently found beneath notice.
The large module of this issue reflects a denomination hierarchy particular to Alexandria, which maintained a parallel monetary system long after Egypt's formal absorption into the empire under Augustus.
