Additional information

Germe was a minor Mysian city whose coin output depended heavily on the tenure of individual Roman strategoi — the magistrates whose names appear prominently on provincial bronzes of this type. Glykon, named here in his second term, is otherwise sparsely documented, which makes die-linked examples across different emperors the primary tool for reconstructing the sequence of his office.
