Obverse description Bare-headed cuirassed bust of Lucius Verus facing left, depicted from the rear in the so-called 'back bust' convention typical of certain Provincial issues, with the emperor's curly beard and hair rendered in fine detail. The legend runs around the periphery of the flan. The portrait is executed in the robust provincial style characteristic of the Pergamene conventus, with visible pteryges on the cuirass shoulder.
