| Obverse description | Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Gallienus facing right, depicted from behind in the characteristic rear-view provincial style, with the radiate crown prominently rendered. The paludamentum and segmented cuirass are visible beneath the cloak, conveying imperial military authority. The surrounding Greek legend is partially preserved around the flan, identifying the emperor by his full titulature. The die work is typical of the Carian provincial mint tradition under Gallienus's sole reign. |
