| Reverse description | Artemis, clad in a short chiton and wearing a Phrygian cap, stands facing right, her left hand gripping a bow while her right hand reaches back to draw an arrow from the quiver at her shoulder. She faces a second goddess standing to the left, who extends a patera in her right hand and holds a long sceptre in her left, possibly representing Tyche or a local Anatolian deity. The two figures are rendered in the provincial Greek style characteristic of Carian civic coinage. The reverse field carries the magistrate's legend naming the archon Marcus Aurelius Domesticus in his third term, along with the ethnic of the Tabaean community. |
