Reverse description Homonoïa (concord) type depicting two deities in juxtaposition: Mên, the Phrygian lunar deity, stands facing with head turned left, wearing his distinctive Phrygian cap and holding a long sceptre in one hand and a patera in the other; before him stands the polymastos cult image of Artemis of Ephesus facing, flanked by her characteristic supports and stags on either side. The pairing of these two divine figures serves as a powerful visual emblem of the concord (ὁμόνοια) between the cities of Nysa and Ephesus. The reverse legend encircles the composition, naming the issuing grammateus and the two participating cities.
