Obverse description Laureate head of Geta facing right, depicted with youthful features characteristic of his early portraiture. The bust is rendered in the standard provincial style of the Mysian mint at Apollonia ad Rhyndacum. A circular Greek legend surrounds the portrait within a beaded border. The coin exhibits the typical broad flan and somewhat irregular strike common to civic bronze issues of the Conventus of Cyzicus during the Severan period.
