Obverse description Confronted laureate, draped, and cuirassed busts of Caracalla (left) and Geta (right) facing one another, their effigies depicted in the provincial Greek style typical of Carian civic coinage. A continuous Greek legend encircles the field, naming both co-emperors. The portraiture is rendered in high relief against a flat field, with paludamentum folds visible on the draped shoulders of both figures. The busts are presented on a single plane, a composition frequently employed in Severan-era Asia Minor bronzes to emphasize dynastic harmony.
