Reverse description Homonoia type depicting two civic cult images placed in opposition within the field. To the left stands the celebrated cult statue of Artemis Ephesia, facing, wearing the kalathos (polos crown) and adorned with multiple registers of attributes, flanked by two stags at her sides. To the right, Zeus of Tralles is enthroned, seated left, holding Nike in his extended right hand and a long sceptre in his left. The composition symbolises the civic concord (homonoia) between the cities of Ephesus and Tralles, expressed through the juxtaposition of their principal deities. The reverse legend in Greek encircles the design.
