| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Hadrian facing right, with drapery visible on the left shoulder, rendered in the Alexandrian provincial style. The emperor's effigy displays characteristic short curled hair beneath the laurel wreath, with strong facial features typical of early Hadrianic portraiture. The surrounding Greek legend runs along the coin's periphery, partially visible on this worn specimen. Patches of green patina and surface corrosion are evident across the lower portion of the flan. |

| Reverse description | Hadrian, laureate and togate, standing in a quadriga drawn by four elephants advancing to the right, holding an eagle-tipped sceptre in one hand and a branch in the other. The elephant quadriga is a prestigious reversal type evoking triumphal iconography and divine honors, closely associated with deified emperors and major imperial celebrations in Alexandrian coinage. The regnal year date appears in the field. The flan is irregular and the reverse shows significant wear consistent with circulation. |
