Reverse description An agonistic prize table, rendered in oblique perspective from above, with two bulging money purses hanging from the crossbar and a large urn or amphora set on the ground beneath. Atop the table surface stand two agonistic crowns flanking a central wreath enclosing an inscription; additional inscriptions appear on the crowns themselves. The composition is a standard type celebrating the Olympian games held at Pergamum under the authority of the local magistrate named in the legend, referencing the city's triple neocorate status. Multiple Greek legends are distributed across the field and within the design elements.
