Reverse description A nude male figure wearing a chlamys stands to the right, holding a transverse staff, facing Heracles who is seated to the left upon rocks, resting his club in his left hand; both figures raise their right hands in a gesture of greeting or salutation. The scene is rendered in a classicising style typical of Lydian civic bronze coinage of the mid-third century AD. The reverse legend in the exergue and field names the magistrate Kleoboulos and identifies the issuing civic community of the Temenothyraeans.
