正面描述 Confronted busts: laureate and cuirassed bust of Septimius Severus to right, with gorgoneion on breastplate, facing a laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Geta to left. The two imperial effigies are depicted face-to-face in a style characteristic of provincial bronze coinage of the Severan period. The obverse legend is distributed around the field, identifying both rulers. The die work reflects the engraving traditions of the Carian provincial mint.

背面描述 Hecate standing facing, head turned to left, wearing a kalathos (basket crown), holding a patera in one hand and a torch in the other, with a lighted altar positioned at her feet. The depiction of Hecate in her single form, rather than the more common triple-bodied representation, is consistent with local Carian cultic traditions, as Stratonicea was an important center of Hecate worship. The reverse legend, distributed around the field, records the name of the local magistrate responsible for the coin's issue. The rendering of the goddess and the altar is characteristic of the high Severan provincial bronze style.
