| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Caracalla facing right, rendered in three-quarter view from the front, with paludamentum visible over the left shoulder. The portrait displays the characteristic youthful features of the emperor as depicted during the Severan period. The obverse legend encircles the effigy in Greek characters. The flan is broad and irregularly struck, consistent with provincial bronze coinage of Asia Minor. |

| Reverse description | Demeter seated left upon a cippus or stone throne, her figure rendered in dignified, classicizing style typical of Mysian provincial coinage. In her raised right hand she holds ears of grain, while her left hand supports a cornucopia, symbols of agricultural abundance and divine fertility. The goddess is depicted in long, flowing drapery, her feet resting on a footstool or ground line. The reverse legend naming the strategus and the city of Adramyteum runs around the field in Greek characters. |
