| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Philip II facing right, rendered in three-quarter view from behind, with paludamentum visible over the left shoulder and articulated pteryges at the shoulder joint. The imperial effigy is executed in the characteristic Provincial style of the Pergamene conventus, with a pronounced bead-and-reel border encircling the type. The obverse legend runs clockwise around the bust in Greek characters. |
