| Descrizione del dritto | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Philip I (Philip the Arab) facing right, rendered three-quarter from the rear, with the paludamentum visible over the left shoulder and scale armour details on the cuirass. The imperial effigy displays a short beard and characteristic broad facial features. The Greek legend encircles the bust along the periphery of the flan, reading from lower left to right. The die work is typical of the Carian provincial workshops, with bold, high-relief portraiture set against a flat field. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | A tetrastyle temple with four columns supporting a rounded pediment, rendered in frontal elevation; within the intercolumnar space, a cult statue of Zeus is depicted seated to the left, holding Nike in his extended right hand and a long sceptre in his left. The architectural rendering includes stepped stylobate elements, consistent with provincial Carian coinage conventions of the mid-third century AD. The ethnic legend ΑΝΤΙΟΧΕΩΝ is inscribed around the reverse field, identifying the issuing city of Antioch ad Maeandrum. |
