Reverse description Homonoia type depicting two civic cult images in juxtaposition: to the left, the xoanon of Artemis Ephesia stands facing, wearing a kalathos (polos crown), her body adorned with multiple rows of pendulous ovoids and supported by lateral props, flanked by two stags at her sides; to the right, Zeus of Tralles is enthroned, seated left, extending Nike in his right hand and holding a long sceptre in his left. The composition symbolises the homonoia (civic concord) formally proclaimed between the cities of Ephesus and Tralles, with the bilingual civic legend distributed around the field.
