| 表面の説明 | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Macrinus facing right, depicted from the rear in the characteristic three-quarter perspective favoured in provincial coinage of Asia Minor. The portrait displays the emperor's distinctive bearded visage, with the laurel wreath rendered in fine relief atop his head. Paludamentum folds are visible at the shoulder, and the cuirass suggests his military rank and imperial authority. The Greek imperial legend runs around the periphery of the flan. |

The magistrate's legend in Greek encircles the design, recording the eponymous first archon Aelius Zosimos serving for the second time, on behalf of the Gordian Iulians. |
