| Reverse description | A hexastyle temple depicted in perspective, its six columns framing a cult statue of Artemis advancing to the right, depicted in the Artemis Ephesia or huntress type, drawing an arrow from a quiver at her shoulder while holding a bow. The architectural rendering is typical of Lydian civic coinage of the Antonine period, emphasising the religious and civic identity of the mint city. The reverse legend in Greek script names the magistrate and the city of Maeonia, arranged around the temple design. |
