Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Trebonianus Gallus facing right, rendered in three-quarter rear view, a presentation characteristic of mid-third-century provincial coinage. The effigy displays the emperor in full military dress, with the paludamentum visible over the cuirass. A Greek imperial legend encircles the bust, reading clockwise around the periphery of the flan. The portrait style reflects the provincial workshop tradition of the Carian conventus, with somewhat coarse but vigorous engraving. The flan is broad and slightly irregular, typical of the Anatolian provincial bronze series of this period.
