(Translation: Emperor Trajan Augustus Germanicus Dacicus)
Reverse description Standing frontal figure of the young Amon-Ra, head turned to the right, wearing a divine crown, holding a long sceptre in the right hand and a ram facing right in the left hand. Flanking the deity are two bases or pedestals adorned with garlands, each surmounted by a standing ram. The composition references the nome deity of the Xoite nome in Lower Egypt, rendered in the syncretic Greco-Egyptian artistic tradition typical of Alexandrian provincial bronzes. The reverse legend identifies the nome and the regnal year in Greek characters distributed around the field.
