| Obverse description | Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Emperor Trajan Decius facing right, rendered in three-quarter rear view, displaying the radiate crown, paludamentum, and military cuirass typical of mid-third century provincial coinage. The imperial effigy occupies the full height of the flan, with the legend disposed in two arcs around the periphery. The style is characteristic of the Pergamene civic mint, with bold, slightly worn relief and a pronounced reddish-brown patina consistent with the coin's heavily circulated condition. |
