| Reverse description | The syncretic deity Sobek-Kronos stands facing left in the field, depicted as a bearded male figure wearing the atef crown surmounting ram horns, a distinctive fusion of Egyptian and Greco-Roman iconography associated with the Arsinoite nome. In his left hand he holds a harpa (curved sickle-sword), while his right hand presents the bust of Premarres (the deified Amenemhet III), facing right, the local patron deity of the Fayyum region. Before the standing figure, a sacred crocodile is depicted facing left, referencing the crocodile cult central to Arsinoite nome religious practice. The nome ethnic and regnal year appear in the Greek legend in the field. |
