| Obverse description | Bare head of Caracalla facing right, rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Bithynian coinage of the Severan period. The portrait displays youthful features consistent with Caracalla's depiction as Caesar. The surrounding Greek legend runs clockwise around the periphery of the flan. The coin shows significant surface wear and an ancient piercing at the top, suggesting secondary use as a pendant or amulet in antiquity. |
