| Obverse description | Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Caracalla facing right, rendered in provincial style. The emperor's youthful features are framed by a radiate laurel wreath, with paludamentum visible at the left shoulder. The Greek imperial titulature encircles the portrait in the field, reading from upper left around the periphery. The die workmanship reflects the local workshop tradition of Phrygia, with somewhat broad, flat relief typical of Nacolean bronze coinage. |
