| Obverse description | Bare-headed bust of Geta as Caesar, draped and cuirassed, facing left as seen from the front, rendered in the provincial Greek style. The portrait displays youthful features consistent with Geta's representation as Caesar under Septimius Severus. The circular legend surrounds the effigy, naming the prince in Greek characters. The flan is broad and irregular, typical of Mytilenean civic bronze coinage of the Severan period. |
