| Obverse description | Confronted busts of Caracalla and Geta: to the right, the laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Caracalla seen from the rear; facing left, the bare-headed, draped, and cuirassed bust of Geta also seen from the rear. The two imperial effigies are presented in a symmetrical vis-à-vis arrangement, a compositional format characteristic of provincial civic bronzes celebrating the Severan co-regency. The obverse legend in Greek encircles the field, naming both princes in their respective imperial and Caesarian titles. |
