Between the two principal figures, the diminutive chthonic deity Telesphorus stands frontally, his characteristic hooded cloak rendered in the local Lydian provincial style. The composition reflects the prominence of the healing cult in the civic and religious life of Saitta. The magistrate's legend and ethnic are distributed around the field. |
