| 裏面の説明 | Tyche standing right, clad in long chiton and himation, holding a sceptre in her left hand and extending her right hand to clasp that of Roma (or Athena) seated left upon a cuirass; the seated figure wears military attire and a crested helmet, and a large round shield is positioned to the right. The scene evokes a formal concordia or alliance between the city goddess and Rome, rendered in a style typical of Phrygian civic bronze coinage of the Severan period. The Greek legend and regnal year appear in the field and along the border. |
