| Beschrijving keerzijde | Two standing deities in confronted arrangement: Demeter, depicted on the left facing right, holds a long torch in one hand and ears of grain in the other, emblematic of her role as goddess of the harvest; opposite her stands a female deity, tentatively identified as Hera, facing left, holding a patera in her extended right hand and a long sceptre in her left. The figures are rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of Mysian civic bronzes under Philip I. The multi-line field legend records the name and title of the local magistrate Aurelius Draukos Epaphroditos, first archon of the Adrianoi. |
