Obverse description Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Emperor Maximinus Thrax to right, portrayed with characteristic broad features, the cuirass rendered with diagonal striations visible across the chest and shoulder. The effigy is depicted from a rear three-quarter perspective, a convention common to Severan-era provincial bronzes of Asia Minor. A circular Greek legend surrounds the bust within a beaded border. A later suspension hole is present at the left side of the flan, indicating secondary use as a pendant or ornament.
