Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Lucius Verus facing right, wearing paludamentum over cuirass, the imperial portrait rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Bithynian civic coinage. The legend is disposed around the periphery of the flan in Greek characters. The flan is irregular and the surface shows typical ancient wear consistent with provincial bronze coinage of the Antonine period.

Reverse description Zeus Syrgastes, the local syncretic deity of Tium, depicted standing to the left in a frontal, hieratic pose, draped, holding a patera in his extended right hand over an eagle standing at his feet to the left, and grasping a long sceptre in his left hand. The figure occupies the central field, with the encircling Greek legend distributed around the border. The eagle at the god's feet reinforces the Jovian iconography adapted to local Bithynian cult worship.
