| Reverse description | Two turreted Tychai, representing the personifications of Colossae and Aphrodisias, standing facing one another at center and clasping right hands in a gesture of homonoia (concord). Each figure holds a long sceptre in the outer hand. The composition is a standard homonoia type, symbolizing the civic alliance between the two Phrygian cities. The reverse legend, distributed around the field, names the magistrate Claudius Priscus and identifies both cities along with the homonoia theme. |
