| Obverse description | Corn-wreathed and draped bust of Kore Soteira to right, adorned with a necklace, the grain wreath rendered in careful relief atop her coiffured hair. The bust is presented in the three-quarter draped style characteristic of provincial Greek coinage of the Antonine period. The circular legend in Greek script runs around the periphery of the flan within a dotted border. The portraiture reflects the local Cyzicene artistic tradition honoring the goddess as civic protectress. |
