Obverse description Draped bust of Kore Soteira facing right, her head adorned with a wreath of grain ears (corn-wreath) and a necklace, presented in the Provincial Greek artistic style characteristic of Mysia. The legend encircles the bust in the field, identifying the deity and the issuing city. The portraiture reflects the syncretic religious traditions of Cyzicus, where Kore Soteira held a prominent civic and cultic role.
