The turreted crown identifies the deity as the divine personification and protectress of the city of Germe. The bust is rendered in the provincial Greek artistic style typical of Mysian civic coinage of the Antonine period. A partial Greek legend appears in the field to the right of the bust. |

The encircling Greek legend names the archon Gaius Iunius Nikiias and the city of Germe, framing the central type in a manner characteristic of provincial bronze issues from the Pergamene conventus during the reign of Marcus Aurelius. |
