Obverse description Draped bust of Empress Crispina facing right, with hair elaborately dressed in a bun at the nape of the neck, rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of Lydian civic coinage. The effigy is portrayed with fine detail in the drapery folds at the shoulder. The encircling legend reads ΚΡΙϹΠΙΝΑ ϹΕΒΑϹΤΗ (Crispina Augusta) in Greek characters around the bust.
