(Translation: Emperor Caesar Trajan Hadrian Augustus)
Reverse description Emperor Hadrian, laureate and wearing a toga, standing upright in a quadriga advancing to the right. He holds an eagle-tipped sceptre in one hand and a branch in the other, attributes emblematic of imperial authority and victory. The regnal year legend appears in the field. The composition reflects the ceremonial triumphal iconography common to Alexandrian provincial issues of the Hadrianic period.
