| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, with drapery visible on the left shoulder, rendered in the Alexandrian provincial style with characteristic bold relief. The effigy displays the emperor's well-known physiognomy with short beard and laureate wreath. The surrounding Greek legend is divided on either side of the bust. The flan is irregular and slightly ragged at the edges, consistent with Alexandrian bronze coinage of this period. |
