| Descrizione del dritto | Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Gordian III facing right, depicted from the rear in the characteristic three-quarter back view common to later provincial issues. The radiate crown with pronounced spikes frames the imperial effigy, while the paludamentum and segmented cuirass are rendered in low relief. The encircling Greek legend runs along the outer border of the flan. The portrait displays the youthful features characteristic of Gordian III's coinage, consistent with the Pergamene conventus workshop tradition. |
