Reverse description Architectural composition depicting four neocorate temples of Ephesus arranged in two registers: in the upper register, two tetrastyle temple facades shown frontally, each sheltering a cult statue — that of Artemis of Ephesus on the left and the Emperor on the right; in the lower register, two further temples rendered in perspective view, also with cult statues. The design commemorates Ephesus's status as holder of four imperial neocorate titles. The reverse legend occupies the field around the architectural group.
