Reverse description Tyche or Homonoia standing facing, her head turned to the left, wearing a kalathos (cylindrical modius headdress) atop her head. She extends her right hand holding a patera above a lighted altar, and supports a cornucopia in the bend of her left arm, symbolizing abundance and civic harmony. The figure is rendered in the conventional provincial style of the Ephesian mint, with drapery falling in schematic folds. The encircling Greek legend proclaims Ephesus's prestigious status as a four-time neocorate city.
