| Obverse description | Draped bust of Julia Domna facing right, her hair elaborately waved and ridged in the characteristic Severan fashion, arranged in tiers and drawn back to the nape of the neck. The empress is depicted with fine portraiture typical of provincial Asiatic coinage of the early 3rd century AD. A circular Greek legend surrounds the effigy within the flat field. |

| Reverse description | Artemis, goddess of the hunt, striding vigorously to the right in a dynamic hunting pose, her right hand reaching back to draw an arrow from the quiver at her shoulder while her left hand holds her bow. A hound runs at her feet, reinforcing the hunting iconography. The composition reflects the high-quality artistic tradition of Lesbos civic coinage, with the reverse legend distributed around the field naming the local magistrate and the issuing city. |
