| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Caracalla facing right, rendered in three-quarter view from the rear, a presentation typical of later Severan provincial coinage. The emperor's muscular cuirass and paludamentum are clearly articulated, conveying martial authority. A circular Greek legend surrounds the effigy within a dotted border, identifying the emperor by his full titulature. The portrait style reflects the robust, naturalistic Severan aesthetic characteristic of Asia Minor civic bronzes. |
