Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Caracalla facing right, depicted from the rear, with the paludamentum visible over the left shoulder and segmented cuirass rendered in detail. The emperor's characteristic broad features, short beard, and tightly curled laurel wreath are clearly articulated in high relief. A Greek imperial legend encircles the bust in the field, running along the periphery of the flan.
