| 正面铭文 | ΑΥΤ Κ Τ ΑΙΛ ΑΔΡ ΑΝΤωΝΙΝΟϹ ϹΕΒ ΕΥϹΕΒ (Translation: Emperor Caesar Titus Aelius Hadrian Antoninus Augustus Pius) |
| 背面描述 | The river god Tiber, depicted as a reclining male figure holding a reed, extends his right hand to clasp the hand of Nilus, the personification of the River Nile, who reclines opposite and holds a cornucopia. The gesture of dextrarum iunctio between the two river deities symbolizes the concord between Rome and Egypt. Small genii, emblematic of the river's abundance, are depicted resting on the arm and at the feet of Nilus. The composition is a rare and historically significant allegory of Roman-Egyptian harmony, rendered in the distinctive style of Alexandrian civic coinage. The regnal year Ζ (year 7, corresponding to 143–144 AD) appears in the partially preserved legend. |
