| Obverse description | Bare-headed bust of Emperor Antoninus Pius facing right, clad in cuirass and paludamentum, depicted from the front-centre view. The emperor's features are rendered in typical Antonine portrait style with characteristic beard and mature physiognomy. The encircling Greek legend names the emperor with his full imperial titulature. The flan shows signs of irregular casting typical of Alexandrian provincial bronze coinage of this period. |
