Obverse description Bare-shouldered, laureate bust of Emperor Antoninus Pius facing right, with a short beard rendered in fine detail characteristic of Alexandrian provincial coinage. A smaller draped figure, likely representing a deity or personification, appears behind the emperor's shoulder at lower left. The Greek imperial legend encircles the portrait, partially preserved along the upper periphery of the flan. The modeling of the portrait is bold and high-relief, consistent with the Antonine artistic tradition as expressed in Alexandrian bronze issues.
