Obverse description Laureate, nude bust of Emperor Trajan facing right, with an aegis draped over the left shoulder, rendered in the Alexandrian provincial style. The effigy displays strong portraiture typical of Trajanic coinage, with the laurel wreath clearly defined around the head. The Greek legend encircles the bust along the periphery within a dotted border. The overall execution reflects the competent workmanship of the Alexandrian mint during the later years of Trajan's reign.
