| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Emperor Trajan facing right, depicted nude with an aegis draped over the left shoulder, rendered in the robust Alexandrian provincial style. The effigy displays finely engraved curling hair beneath the laurel wreath, with strong facial features characteristic of Trajanic portraiture. The Greek imperial legend is arranged around the periphery of the field. The overall execution reflects the accomplished die-cutting tradition of the Alexandrian mint. |

| Reverse description | A three-bayed triumphal arch rendered in frontal view, with a large central archway flanked by two smaller side arches, all resting on a substantial architectural base. Atop the attic of the arch stands a quadriga driven at full gallop, with a standing statue of the Emperor prominently positioned at the centre above the central bay. Flanking figures, likely Victories or trophies, appear at the outer corners of the roofline, emphasising the triumphal character of the composition. The date regnal legend L ΙΓ appears to the right of the structure. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border. |
